In any creative endeavor, talent is the dominant resource. As a practice, GP is committed to a process of lifelong learning and training. Remaining at the forefront of our profession requires us to actively seek out the latest developments in construction materials and design techniques. 

As leaders, the partners are committed to passing on their expertise to each successive generation within the practice. To this end, we support continuing education programs in order to help staff earn CEU credits toward license renewal and IDP accreditation. 

We also manage the long view. One example of how we proactively manage staff career development is through our Champion:Protégé program. Each employee is paired with a senior staff memberone with whom they do not normally have a direct reporting relationship. The senior staffer, or Champion, acts as an advocate and advisor ensuring that tangible and achievable goals are identified each year within the context of broader career aspirations.
