Moses Scott, Assoc. AIA, has joined Goettsch Partners (GP) as the director of digital practice, based in the Chicago office. In this role, Scott will lead the firm’s advancements in Building Information Modeling (BIM), specifically the firm’s data management protocols across digital practice tools.
Scott has 15 years of professional experience, working with a range of architecture, construction and real estate consulting firms. He most recently served as virtual design and construction manager at Turner Construction in Chicago. “Moses brings a diverse, complementary background across the building industry that will be a great asset as design and construction disciplines continue to become more closely integrated,” said James Zheng, AIA, LEED AP, president of Goettsch Partners. “His unique perspective on ‘digital practice’ and its role in shaping the future will add distinct value to our work and real benefit to our clients.”
Scott is educated in both architecture and real estate. He received his Master of Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology. He also holds a Master of Science in Real Estate Development and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture, both from Columbia University.
