COFCO Qianhai Innovation Center
Shenzhen, China
This complex features two nearly twin towers, standing 180 and 200 meters tall, each composed of three slender bars that step back to reveal internal atria and outdoor sky terraces. Drawing inspiration from Shenzhen’s urban villages, the atria are shaped in response to local zoning codes regulating double-height spaces. Interconnecting stairs and meeting rooms activate the space, encouraging movement, collaboration and connection.
