Two GP Projects Announced as Finalists in MIPIM Asia Awards
10.29.2025
Goettsch Partners is pleased to have two projects recognized as finalists in the 2025 MIPIM Asia Awards. Both the Pudong New District Meiyuan Community Parcel 2E8-19 and the Taichung D-ONE complex are shortlist winners in the New Mega Development category.
In Shanghai, the 244,500-square-meter Pudong New District Meiyuan project features two office towers, five residential towers, and a cultural/office building. The development connects through an elevated pedestrian platform known as the Cloud Garden, creating an expansive landscaped surface that links directly to adjacent subway stations. The design integrates the surrounding community through warm materials, reduced tower heights at the site’s edge and heavily landscaped pedestrian avenues.
In Taiwan, the 400,000-square-meter Taichung D-ONE complex includes a retail and entertainment hub designed by Benoy, along with two towers by GP. The towers are integrated into the larger complex, featuring a five-star hotel and a multitenant office tower inspired by bamboo forests and terraced hillsides. Together, the buildings express a language of verticality and connection to the natural landscape.
The MIPIM Asia Awards celebrate excellence and innovation among the best of the Asian real estate industry, honoring projects that exemplify vision, sustainability and impact. The program provides an opportunity to showcase design leadership, exchange ideas and inspire progress across the built environment.
