Chicago Architecture Foundation Presents "Chicago River Building Boom"

04.13.2016

The Chicago Architecture Foundation recently started a new presentation series that focuses on current projects. The series debut, entitled “Chicago River Building Boom,” took place on April 12, featuring three prominent towers under construction at the confluence of the north and south branches of the Chicago River: 150 North Riverside, designed by Goettsch Partners; River Point, designed by Pickard Chilton; and Wolf Point West, designed by bKL Architecture.

GP principal Joachim Schuessler and associate principal Erik Harris, AIA, presented the 150 North Riverside office tower. They discussed both the design and technical challenges of the project and provided an update on the building’s construction, which is scheduled for completion by yearend.
